i had a feed of prawns(shrimp)and through the heads in a jar and they have been in the shed now for about a month and has some good juice on the bottom
what i was wondering is should i mix something in with it i will add clycerine in with it but is there anything else i can add to get the reds coming in remembering that im in australia and can get most of the stuff you have in the states but it is very expensive
also have half a dozen eggs that have been in the fridge for about six months i have been saving them what can i do with them (the missus is not happy about the eggs being in there for so long)

cheers mick

The only thing I would add would be glycerine oil. It should add body and prevent evaporation as well as work to stabilize the level of "taint" so to speak. A few blokes use the same method with fish here in the states.

As for the eggs, I wouldn't bother unless I was trappin' gators. We don't have too many Crocs even in south Florida but all those little nasties are on the rise in population. ?? Guys who do animal control with the gators use chickens that have a bit of smell but alot of those guys also say they like fresh meat. ?? I've never trapped gators for sport or control but can see both sides of thier ideas. I wouldn't use eggs for K-9s but I have heard of guys doing just that with mixed results.

What kind of aniamls do you have over thhere? Oh and how tainted is it? I put fish in a jar for a month and got the same juice at the bottom. I aded dog food to creat a sort of bait and caught a few coon and 1 fox. it smelled horrible but it worked!

Good luck!
