Mushroom hunting

Went yesterday only found about 18 but the were all pretty big and i also had lots of fun

anybody else gone yet??

I went Monday with Blackdog and marc12. Found maybe 10-12 pounds? IDK didn't weigh them, but it was a pretty good mess. Went again this afternoon, closer to home, and found 3 nearly dried up morels. We didn't get enough rain in my area to have a good crop.

Haven't had a chance to go again, but I was dumping some brush by a nearby pond and stumbled across a 5 incher, but It was all dried up.....The rain always comes at the wrong times. Hopefully it will be better next year.

I don't think it could be much worse next year. In my area I only found a total of 8 morels this year. 3 of those were all dried up and nearly un-salvageable.
